About The Founder

Ross Lapham is the founder of TexaStar Properties. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Ross graduated in 1992 from Stratford High School in West Houston. Ross is married with 5 kids, living in Kingwood, Texas. Ross has grown up seeing his father as a real estate investor. It presented Ross with an opportunity to learn about residential and commercial development.


Ross graduated from Baylor University in 1996, with a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. After this, Ross obtained licensures as both a Texas Realtor and a Group One Health and Life Insurance and Financial Advisor. 


Ross secured a position with the Colonial Life and Accident Insurance Company. During the time with the company, Ross exceeded the sales goals yearly. Ross also began to practice real estate in Houston during his free time, including weekends. The interest grew into a passion for real estate. Even though Ross was a top producer for Colonial, he longed for a career as a full-time realtor. After 10 years with Colonial, Ross decided to retire from the insurance business and put all the time and effort into real estate.

Ross earned his Texas Real Estate Brokerage license and started realty brokerage. The business achieved overnight success in the North East Houston area. 

Jill Watford

Jill Watford has a passion for homes, architecture, landscape, and interior design, as well as a desire to assist people in finding their dream homes.


Personal Life

After working many years in the energy industry, Jill retired and took on the role of mother of two. Once her children began school, she took the opportunity to pursue her dream of becoming a real estate agent. Jill has been a resident of Kingwood, TX, for nearly 40 years. She is a graduate of Kingwood High School and Texas Woman’s University.

Jill joined TexaStar Properties after successfully obtaining her Real Estate Salesperson license. She works under the brokerage of Ross Lapham with TexaStar Properties. Her vast knowledge of neighborhoods, local floor plans, schools, churches, and community events make her a unique agent in the Houston area. She has an extensive network of family, friends, and colleagues developed over many years, through long-term relationships.

Ashley Alam

Ashley Alam

Ashley was born and raised in North Houston and graduated from Kingwood High School. She pursued higher education and obtained a business degree from the University of Houston. Ashley has been working in the areas of land development and construction management including custom home building. She specializes in fuel station development and management. She is well versed in residential property representation. Ashley, a bilingual realtor, is known for her excellent interpersonal skills and consistently provides amazing customer service to her diverse clientele.


A Houston-area native, Stephan is an experienced, successful partner in any residential real estate transaction. Following a versatile career in restaurant development and ownership, Stephen decided to pursue a career in real estate. His passion for helping people and for finding solutions for clients is the reason he has been able to excel in his career.

When he is not working, Stephan can be found at his summerwood home with his wife Sara and daughters Harmony and Hope, enjoying a Houston Texans game.

Paul O'Bryan

Paul O’Bryan is a full-time real estate professional working with clients as a realtor, performing residential appraisals as a State Certified Residential Appraiser. Paul also provides property tax consultation services. Paul is a reliable person to reduce clients' property tax liability.

As a Houston realtor, appraiser, and resident, Paul has watched the Houston marketing area change over the years, which has helped him to see essential trends in Houston real estate. Performing residential appraisals throughout Greater Houston has allowed Paul to be exposed to marketing areas from Katy to Baytown, Conroe to Galveston, and everything in between.

Working With Real Estate Agents

Appraisal assignments require researching market trends, reviewing real estate contracts, and importantly, determining market values. Some of Paul’s clients include real estate agents. He gives professional advice to their listings and to assess current market values. He performs a market value appraisal, which is far more comprehensive than their fundamental market analysis or CMA.

Listing Price

As an experienced appraiser, Paul provides clients to determine their listing price when selling their homes. Paul worked with lenders to offer residential value services that have exposed him to lenders to look for a loan on a real estate property. He makes sure that the stated property is real collateral for the loan and not just an inflated property value. This valuable experience allows the clients to save time and money as well as making sure that the property value is adequate to secure a loan.

Personal Experience

Paul has been a long-time inner loop resident. After moving from La Joya, California to Houston in 1995, Paul was excited to make his first home purchase after being exposed to the real estate prices in California. From 1995 to today, there has been a massive increase in real estate values. However, Houston is still a great city to live in, and housing is affordable, and you get great value for you.

Danielle’s story begins in New Orleans, Louisiana where she became enchanted with the historic charm and character of such an amazing city. Growing up in a city with such rich architecture and unique landscape has made her appreciate all that diverse cities have to offer. From a young age, Danielle’s real estate experience began by preserving and restoring historic homes in New Orleans. These renovation experiences ignited her passion for real estate, architectural design, and interior design.
Houston, TX is where her “NEW” story begins. Danielle moved to Houston in 2006 and in 2016 moved to Kingwood, TX. She still holds an interest in preserving her local communities by staying active as a real estate investor. Her personal interest in real estate has led her to a NEW path. On this NEW path, she decided to pursue a real estate career and currently works as a sales agent for TexaStarProperties. Danielle offers many years of her own personal experience of buying and selling real estate insight to both residential clients and investor clients. She sees vision and value where others may not and strives to find the right property for her clients.

Brooke Anop

Brooke Anop grew up in The Woodlands, Texas and has watched the area grow astronomically since the 1980’s. While owning/managing a private daycare for 16 years, Brooke proudly served local schools and families in the community while volunteering in multiple non-profit organizations year round.

Brooke decided that she was ready for a career change and her outgoing, helpful and kind nature drew her to a career in Real Estate where she thrives on helping Client’s Buy, Sell or Lease their dream homes!

As a former military wife, she's all too familiar with moving and recognizes how overwhelming relocation can be so she strives to go above and beyond, guiding her client’s closely during the home buying or selling process to make it a successful and smooth transaction from start to finish.

Brooke has experience in Commercial Property Management as well but her heart is in Residential Real Estate. She is a Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS) trained in home staging strategies and offers complimentary, basic staging advice to her Clients’. She is also Veteran Certified Agent and takes pride in serving those that have served our country and helping Veterans maximize their VA benefits. Brooke is a Texas Residential Leasing Specialist (TRLS) and gladly helps Renters/Landlords achieve their leasing goals. In addition, Brooke is actively working towards her Texas Residential Property Manager (TRPM)

certification and will soon launch our Residential Property Management division, Reliable Residential Property Management, LLC. When Brooke is not busy working, you'll likely find her at a Sporting event or Concert/Venue with live music.

Michelle was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. At the age of 19, needing a change and a challenge, she joined the United States Marine Corps as a Military Police Officer. While serving, she met her Texan husband who was also serving in the Marine Corps. Over the course of the next ten years, and with the addition of 2 children, they traveled across the country living in many different states before coming home to Texas. Michelle says she is truly loves calling our beautiful Lone Star State – HOME.

Michelle earned her bachelors in geoscience at Pacific Lutheran University located in Washington State. After graduating, she found herself working in the political world as a Legislative Assistant for a Washington State Representative.

Now that she is settled back in Texas with her family, Michelle is ready to help anyone looking to lease, buy or sell a home! She can also assist with any needs involving income property and vacant land. Michelle’s passion is helping those looking for their dream home find what they were looking for, all while exceeding expectations! Her personal experience of having many moves under her own belt allow her a greater insight on what movers needs are and how best help them.
